I have a Tao as well and for the most part, it works well. A bit troublesome at times but all in all a worthwhile investment for turning say, a iPod (yeah...I have one of those!), into a BT device.

I use it to transmit sound from my blu ray player to a sound bar, and an HDMI to RCA adapter that goes to a video projector when we watch movies on a screen.

Our JWM70A was recently replaced due to the common DVD quitting (also had intermittent BT loss issues). Original produced in China, the replacement was made in Malaysia (or Philippines, can't recall), hasn't dropped BT yet, and DVD works perfectly. Still a sucky unit, but at least this one works as advertised.

2022 with JWM22 same issues. Had named it and forgot it on iPhone but is acting stupid. frustrated. Until I I pushed the reset button on my JWM22 lol. Then I was able to pair again.

I had my issues connecting the Jensen unit in my 2021 400 with my iPhone at first. Now the damn thing won’t stop connecting.
