Drilling Through Roof for Solar Panel Cables

Hi,

I'm planning on running two MC4 PV cables through the roof of our 2017 Clamshell 320 CS Teardrop (with No A/C, Heater, Fridge, etc).
I'm thinking of drilling a 1/2 or 3/4 in. hole in the the left rear corner area between the kitchen and main cabin more or less
centered directly above the existing hole in the shelf for the blue and white wires. (See photos) And mount the gland box on the roof as shown.

Any thoughts or comments? or advice?
Is there anything in the roof that I need to be aware of when I drill through?

I'm looking for any diagrams, etc. showing the exact location of any cross members, etc. in the back left corner of the roof as shown in the photo.

As well as specific advice as to where to drill (and not drill}, how to find cross members, etc.

Would the roof cross members be wood or Aluminum for a 2017 Teardrop Clamshell?

Thanks

Bob
