Outdoor light

We just pick up our 2015 T@B a couple of weeks ago.  We are getting ready to take it out for the first time this weekend.  The T@B has been stored in our garage as soon as we bought it home from the dealership. It has not been exposed to the weather at all.  So I am little surprised to see the white covering that is above the outdoor light by the door turning yellow. Has anyone had the same experience? I contacted T@B on May 19th and still waiting for a response. Thank you for your comments

I'm not sure what white covering you mean - the clear lens? My Tab is silver and white, but the light is chrome. (Those are little camper lights over the door - I took this picture just after the sun passed the horizon)

    From the factory today:

We can send them a replacement in either white or chrome. I would advise that they use chrome or it will happen again. The vendor does not use UV protecting film in the mold... We have discussed changing this and are changing the porch light all together starting next week.

That is good news. Should I just contact the manufacture or the dealership. I really appreciate the support.

Clina, the lens cover will have three tabs that snap it into place, one on each end and one top center.  If you climb up on a ladder so you can see the top of the fixture, these should be evident.  Some people have had luck removing the cover by just pulling down and out by hand, but most have found it necessary to do a little prying with a thin bladed screwdriver.  Use some type of masking tape around the fixture to prevent marring or scratching of the trailer’s finish.

My cover also “yellowed,” and when I changed the bulb, I just gave it a couple coats of white spray paint before replacing.  I did break one of the tabs when replacing, so be careful.  If you get the chrome cover, the tabs should be less likely to break.  I used a bit of caulking to help hold mine in place because of the broken tab.  The caulk might not be a bad idea anyway to help keep rain out of the fixture.  I just ran a small line of caulk all the way across the top of the fixture after everything was back in place.
