Black water dump stations

Hello next weekend I will be taking my first trip and I am staying at two different harvesthost one a Distillery and one a winery.
where does one dump black water when there is no dump site available... Am I able to go to a state park if I am not staying there at time?

I don't know about availability at a state park.
When we come back from camping we pull into a gas station with a  dump site. Our larger gas stations near the freeway have places to dump a black tank. Perhaps you can call the Harvest Hosts and ask where the nearest dump station is?

I doubt Harvest Hosts as an organization knows about dump sites in every area. The site you stay at may know what's closest. However, you can always look up the nearest dump site here: https://www.sanidumps.com/ 

Some state parks may allow you to dump without staying. Some may charge a fee. Some may not allow it at all.

@Saravtower I use https://rvdumpsites.net/ and Allstays app, very helpful. State parks allow dumping for a fee. Check if your town has water treatment facility, they usually allow dumping for residents.

If you’re near a Camping World, they generally have a dump site. Ours is free with a donation of canned food stuffs.

Cabellas is my go to spot.  Also have found many town waste plants which allow septic companies to dump allow RVs.  Just call one near where you are.

Not only Camping World, but many RV service centers and/or dealers, as mentioned waste water plants, service stations, especially some of the truck stops like Flying J's or Pilots (but not all), I have seen them at some rest areas, some Chamber Of Commerce and many others. They are actually pretty prevealant.

Prices range at some gas station and municipal dumps from $2 to $10.  Which includes filling your fresh tank back up.  Seems a little odd to pay for tap water, especially since we have such tiny tanks and should get a teardrop discount, but if a gas station is the closest thing to public lands where I'm at, and they want $5, it seems reasonable for the convenience.

Some places do not keep their web sites up to date. Crystal Crane Hot Springs in the high desert of Oregon said they had dump sites. When we got there they had it posted at $22 dollars. I asked about that and was told no dump sites.

Check out your state’s DOT (Dept of Transportation) website.  WA has dump stations at more than half of the rest stops on the interstate and most of them have 3 individual stations.  All free as well.

I think we’ve seen them in OR as well, not sure about CA.  It’s the easiest way to dump, especially doing on the way home before storage.
