T@da window not closing

Have a Dutchmen T@da with push out windows on a slide bar/channel bar. This channel bar has notches that allows one to place the windows at differing heights.

When trying to close the windows, the button catches on each channel bar notch and will only release from that notch when we raise the window up again.

I have lubricated the windows with lock graphite and it has helped several of my windows, but not all.

Any suggestions on how to make the windows slide close after raising them to full height?

Also, does anyone know what these slide bars are called?

Thank you.

They are called Window Stays. You can order new ones from www.caratech.co.uk
