Metal latch on tab off

The metal latch that secured and locks the back hatch is missing on the left side. How do I go about asking for and ordering a replacement?

You can contact your dealer to order the part or contact another dealer.  You can contact any TaB dealer to order parts.  Try Dana Parsons at Missouri Teardrop Trailers.  If it is under warranty make sure the dealer knows so they can file a warranty claim for them.

@kdawg - we learned early on to add tightening the set screw of these latches to your checklist.  I think an Allen key works.

Once you find a replacement. Slip something over the end of the square shaft like a piece of rubber hose or a hose clamp to keep from losing it again.

In order to avoid bumping into the square shaft, try putting a small chunk of foam over the end.
