Keder Rail

I have one screw missing on each of the 3 keder rails used for the tent. I planned to replace the screws but when the holes were examined there are no holes drilled behind the keder. Does anyone know if these screws were omitted for a reason? Do I drill the holes or is there possibly something behind these locations?
Thanks

Sounds like it could be a defect, there should not be any missing. You should contact your dealer to see about getting them replaced. If you want to do it yourself, the address used are self tap, so no predrilling.

I have a 2015 and I just looked at it, there are none missing and there are 22 total for the upper rail.

consider yourself lucky--my 2011 came without any keder rail at all. (we are second owners)--- Called the factory and was told they made some without them.

groom - Out of curiosity, did they say one could be added?

I called Ed at the factory and they're going to send replacement screws.
Thanks for your help.
