Wired Backup camera to my cars info center

I picked up my new 320cs-s today and the salesman and I were talking about a back up camera since I had spinal fusion and don't have a lot of twisting mobility anymore. He said to check with my Toyota dealer or a speciality shop so they can wire a BUC to my in dash info center using my 4runner rear camera. Anyone heard of this?

    I have an after market pioneer navigation in my 2013 Tundra and I have hard wired a BUC through the head unit. The Pioneer has the inputs for two cameras which I also added a front facing camera also. The BUC works quite well.

    I have found Crutchfield to be an excellent source of information before and after a sale. They are very knowledgeable and may be helpful answering your question using your Toyota’s equipment to add a BUC.
