Replacing broken window in 2007 Dutchman T@B

Hello, fellow T@Bbers.  We've had our 2007 T@B since 2007, and have enjoyed many years of camping.
On our last trip, here in Vermont, the non-entry side window was opened too far and slipped off its hinge, fell to the ground and a few pieces broke off.
We contacted the nearest T@B dealer, and he ordered a replacement window from Nu-Camp.  It arrived, but is about 2 inches too wide for the current space.  It seems as if it  might fit with some "jimmy-ing", but even though the top hinge looks to be the same sort of hinge as the new one, I think we'd have to cut off some of the plastic yellow trim to make it fit.
Has anyone had any experience with replacing an old window with a new one?
(I have used "Gorilla Glue" on the broken window, and it may hold...though looks a bit messy).  Any ideas are welcome.
Thanks,
Sue in Vermont

Most folks just move their window trim over a few inches for the nuCamp windows to fit.

Sue.  Were you able to get your window fitted?  We have the same problem.
