    @rcarlson1957.. there's a SoCal FB group,a NorCal FB group, an Arizona FB group, Midwest FB group, southeastern FB group..and they all plan events that you can meet other T@ggers & T@bbers at from all over including Canada.. it's a great way to see the country too..hubby and I went to T@bazona last January and had a blast!, that is till we had to drive home in February in snow...

    Im sure there are a bunch of us in Texas.  All we need to start a group is for someone with organizational skills to get it rolling.

    @falcon1970 While we may be up to several dozen Texas residents on the forum now, my understanding is that we Texans are supposed to express a subtle rugged individualism, the quintessential cowperson, rolling across the prairie alone astride our faithful T@B.  Hard to herd such critters into groups?

    @Sharon_is_SAM Yup, couldn't find an image of "Ma" Ferguson out camping or roughing it in nature.  For you non-Texans, pic above was our Gov. Ann Richards, hard smoker and drinker, master of the one-liner quip, one of my DW's heroes, and just generally a unique character.

    @falcon1970.. sometimes organizational skills aren't needed..a few years ago before ucamp I posted that I was booking at site at Mill's Creek..and by the end of the week there was about 10 sites booked...it was a nice simple meet and greet..no pot lucks..just a mingling of campers.. we've done it 2 years in a row..of course last year didn't happen..

    OK, I'll be at South Llano River SP on Friday 11th in a TAB 400!

    @falcon1970..believe me if I could bring the T@b across that border I'd love to meet up with you, just not this year..never got to that State Park! Have a great time and enjoy!

    @ontheroad Six more months? Although several RV podcasts have mentioned that some of our RVing neighbors to the north are paying roughly 900 USD to load their campers on commercial freight, taking a short flight into the lower 48, and then reconnecting with their camper.  All perfectly legal with authorities on both sides. Innovative solution, albeit pricey.

    Nope @DougH..not interested in coming yet..and even if the Covid 19 insurance covered over  $1,000,000.00 you still wouldn't see my smiling face there...staying home in my "home sweet home" is perfectly fine with me..catching up on my cleaning of the house and property so when camping starts up again I'll be ahead of the game!
