Lagun table with maple tabletop

Here's my table mod: a new Lagun arm with an 18'x24"x3/4" maple cutting board. I finished it with a few coats of satin polyurethane and it blends in perfectly with the 2014 T@B 320 S interior.
I'm super thrilled with the new table and how much space it frees up, compared to the original elevator table. I loved the little round, red elevator table so much that I'm using it in the house as a fun little coffee table. So I still get to enjoy it!

Looks great!  My 2018 320 Sofitel is covered up in a barn for the winter.  I look forward to replacing my lagun table top with a custom made one from some beautiful butternut boards!

Though not quite as nice as the maple top, this inexpensive option from Home Depot has been working great for us, and it's already coated with polyurethane (26" x 18" x 0.7").  I've bought several of these just to make small shelves.

I just made me a new table top using the above home depot tool cabinet top. And by coping and creating my own lagun table mount , I made one from a small poly cutting board, a 2x4 piece of wood cut like the middle section of the lagun mount then attached a 1inch dowel that I filed down to fit into the original lagun arm,   this way I have this new table top of this larger size or with the real lagun table mount piece attached to a smaller table top.  Depends on the trip and which will be best. I'll have to take a picture of it soon to attach.

gbell Any chance the with would be wide enough to use that table for the center  bed instead of the bed slats? That way you could throw away the bed slats and have a perfect place to store the table while you sleep! Art
