Recommendations for dual-fuel camp stove?

Hi all. I'm wondering if any TAB owners have recommendations for auxiliary stoves for cooking outside.
We just purchased a new 400 and as a result have had to get rid of our old Coleman two-burner gas stove. It's too tight a squeeze for the storage cubby on the rear passenger side, which is where I'd prefer to stow it (as opposed to in the towing vehicle).
We're thinking of a single burner dual-fuel stove and are wondering if anyone has any experience?
Trying to manage the trade offs of bulk, function, accessibility, etc., while keeping storage to a minimum is proving a lot harder than I anticipated. I'm hoping to not have to clutter up the truck with all the spill-over from the trailer ... especially since we'll be hauling two bicycles most of the time, probably in the truck bed. That leaves the back seats for extra clothes and assorted gear that we can't place elsewhere. : (
Thanks for your help and advice. -

For trailer camping the dual fuel would not be our choice. They are nice to use when you are backpacking but the burner space limitations and lack of substantial bases that are typical with compact stoves just don't lend themselves to comfortable camp cooking. Who wants their pot of boiling lobster to tip over at the crucial moment? We like to use one of these. If you are really pressed for space they offer a single burner version. My DH swears by the simple butane canister burners, but here is a dual fuel from Amazon. I think the 400 has that rear propane quick connect, but not all stoves/grills are compatible.

Thank you. I was looking at that one and it seems well reviewed. Definitely the right size!2021 TAB 400 BDL

We had stopped carrying our single burner butane..but it really is great to have on hand...hubby used a piece of black pvc pipe in the storage tub that allowed him to carry 2 refills vertically...it will be added back to the ensemble along with our omnia oven! I rarely use our portable propane camp stove anymore. I do carry our Weber Q grill in the back of the pickup and use it a lot when boondocking. Very handy and we have one in Michigan and at our home in New Mexico. Great purchase! 👍🏻Mike - Elmira, Mi / 2019 T@B 400 / 2021 Chevy Silverado LTZ

Any more, I just use my butane stove outside when camping. It’s easy, it’s light, I use a “Hole-y” veggie grilling pan to put aluminum foil packets in (easier to turn the packets without burning my fingers), I can sauté anything and the butane stove takes less time to clean up than the stove inside. The dogs think I’m a gourmet chef, and that’s all that matters😂Verna, Columbus, IN

a caution fora caution for butane fuel users —a butane Bruner won’t work well when the temperature drops into the 30s and below. And I second the vote for the Camp Chef Everest as it's an awesome camp stove that can simmer delicately yet blast a huge heat when needed. Propane stoves work at low temperatures too.

If you're not boondocking how about an electric skillet or griddle?
We carry a small 12 inch square skillet with lid that works great for our meals. Lightweight, easy to store, easy to clean. Paid $20 at Wal Mart for it.2006 RAM 1500 4 door, 2016 T@B 320 MAX S

We use to use an old 1974 Coleman 3 burner white gas stove that is on its 3rd generation of camping in our family. A couple years ago we purchased a new old stock 1983 dual fuel 3 burner on ebay that we use now but we have yet to run it with gasoline. The Coleman 3 burner model is a beast to stow but between the nostalgia and usefulness, we just can't make the leap to a smaller stove.2021 T@B 400 BD, 2021 Lexus GX 460, Kansas City MO

We purchased the dual fuel, two burner (white gas and unleaded gasoline) Coleman camp stove and love it. Just purchased a propane adapter for it so now it will burn on three fuel options.2020 TAB 320 U
