I’ve been scouring the archives for some bike rack solutions for the 400. I was dead set on the Jack-It rack but after some consideration I think I need room for additional bikes (at least three).
My plan was to try and see if this would fit the 400:

That way I can buy a higher capacity rack.
I’ve seen older T@bs fit it but that was without the new steel tub. Does anybody know if this works on the newer 400s?

The ebike rack does require drilling into the frame to mount the angled supports to manage the extra weight.
When I mentioned to the rep I wasn't too fond of this, they went to the backroom and talked. They came back to say they could make a shorter rack that wouldn't require the braces. It will only clear the propane box by three inches, so I will have to self engineer something. I do like the idea of not having to lift the bikes as high as most racks require.
And of course, watch your tongue weight.
