Bedding for the 400

I'm taking delivery of a 2021 Tab 400 in April. Yay! I currently have a 320. I know the bed on the 400 is roughly queen sized, but given the way it's snugged into the space, I'm wondering if my current, twin size bedding will be the best option. It doesn't look like there would be room for the bedding to drape over the bed the way it would in a traditional setting. Any thoughts? And I'm solo, so I don't need wider bedding. My duvet is 64" x 86" and the mattress in the Tab is 55" x 79".

That should work quite well. We put a double bed topper on our TaB400 bunk, and I would not want anything larger, it just fits. The bunk overall is actually 56” wide and 79” long. It does have the front bottom corner cut off at an angle, but our topper is 78” long, so not an issue.

Thank you, Denny! I really like the bedding so was hoping it would work. And it looked like it might be difficult to tuck in a queen size, with the mattress tight on all sides.

A Queen size is going to be too big, they are 60” wide!Cheers2018 TaB400 Custom Boondock, Jeep Gladiator truck, Northern California Coast.

We use full sized sheets, and a queen sized quilt. It's what we already had, and it fits well!

I have also found a standard (also called Full) sized bedding works well.

Great info! We are getting our new TAB 400 boondock in a few days and I wondered what type of bedding would fit. I actually have full sized bed sheets so I'm good to go! I also have a thick mattress cover so I think I'll try that out and see if I need a topper. Hubby and I are brand new so there will be more questions! It's so nice to have a community like this to help us through the rough spots.

I use Full size as well. And I've decided to ditch the 3" memory foam pad and go back to the OEM version from the factory. Too warm and too hard to get out of.
Nice modest mattress pad is all I have on the original cushions.
Time (and my back) will tell me if I made the right call.2020 T@B 400 "OTTO" (build date 08/19)
