Mat Insider Brookside vs. 3 LB Gel

I am usually able to fall asleep almost anywhere, but... one night on an 1.5 inch target memory foam and the regular cushions in our T@B 320 S is about all I can stand. Trying to decide whether to go with MI Brookside or MI 3 LB gel topper. anybody with the Brookside wish they had upgraded? Also, is the cover washable? Thanks in advance for the answers.
