Sewer hose extension storage

Initialy purchased Camco complete RV Sewer kit (10 ft hose). Ran into issues at campgrounds which required me to purchase an additional 10 ft sewer hose extension. I am considering how to store the extension and am thinking I might store it in the propane/battery storage bin ( as shown here). I looking for feedback about pros/cons for storing it here>
