Winch Utility on 400 Boondock

We have a spare light duty winch available - a 12V, meant for ATV.  So it got me wondering....what are some of the uses you've found, or ideas you can imagine, if one had a winch mounted somewhere on the tongue ?   (In this case we have no tongue weight issues to worry about).

I’m not sure a winch would do anything but add weight to the tongue.  I see more value in a motor operated tongue Jack to move the trailer around than cluttering things up with a winch. Just my opinion is all.  😉

Sometimes we like to turn our Tab around in our site. At 75 it is getting a little more difficult. I could see myself using a small winch to reposition it. Both arriving and departing. Besides the type you are talking about are fairly small and not very heavy.

I have used this one to pull the T@B up our driveway slope a couple times.  But it slips over the car tow ball.... not mounted on the tongue of the T@B. The little portable winches do work great though.
