Under cabinet sliding drawer/shelf above side bench

I am continuing on a quest to utilize T@B space most efficiently.  I am not quite ready to invest in a reconfiguration of the storage bench area, but would like to install an under cabinet shelf or drawer.  It should be able to be locked in place and I prefer a minimalist look in metal or natural material.  Any suggestions?

I think your best bet might be to have someone custom build one due to the curvature of the space.  You could do a shelf with baskets or crates.  I think something like this built in to the curves would look nice and be functional:

Thanks for the suggestion, jkjenn.  I was actually thinking of a small drawer or shelf mounted under the cabinet in the bench space - mostly dog and storage space for me - but your idea is something to consider for the future.
