Camper cover for 2021 T@B 400 boondock

Hi, maybe a silly question but I don't know what I don't know. Is there any reason to consider whether silver or charcoal cover is preferable? There are alot more charcoal colored one available which made me wonder if there was a reason to avoid that one.  Thank you. Thus us such a great resource to a new single camper!

As long as it isn't clear, either would be fine.

I prefer the white/light gray ones.  No scientific testing but the darker the color to hotter things seem to get in the sun.

Note, the 18' Polypro3 is too small for the 2021 T@B 400 Boondock, find out the hard way. The Allproadventures fits great, though. We went with light gray and like it.

I doubt that Amazon cover will fit, as it is designed for a 12-15 foot long, 7-foot wide trailer.  The TaB400 is 18-feet long by 7.5 feet wide.   Even if the length fits, the width will not fit.  This cover would work on a TaB320, but not the 400.  You should be able to refuse deliver to get it returned without cost, and get a credit/refund back from Amazon.

@Denny16, my measuring skills must be off because I got a 7' width.  And the 18' long is including the tongue, which doesn't go under the cover.  Thanks for the feedback!  I did ensure it had a free return before I ordered.

Yes, it is hard to get an accurate width measurement, but nüCamp lists the dimensions as:

Total Exterior Length. 18' 3" (yes includes the tongue and tub/box).

Exterior Width. 7' 6"

Exterior Height. 8' 8"

This would be the overall measurements needed for a cover.  The body is 15 1/4 feet long, box is another 18” so cover needs to go over 16.5 feet. Then you have the roof vents and fender flairs which take up material on a cover.

Wanted to follow up on the cover we purchased from Amazon for $195 (now for $171) : Classic Accessories Over Drive PolyPRO3 Deluxe R-Pod Travel Trailer Cover, Fits up to 16' 2" Long - Trailer Body Only (80-199-151001-00).

Fits pretty good, the zippered door access panels line up close enough to get in the T@B's door with no problems.  Material appears sturdy and has held up to a couple of big storms without having to readjust any of the straps. So far so good, no rubbing on the windows.
