Adding a dome switch to the Fantastic Fan upgrade so it shuts off when closed

After reading numerous posts on the 7350 Fantastic Fan upgrade kit I dove in. The installation went fairly quickly but, like others I found the instructions unclear and ended up just recreating the placement of the wires I removed. during the process I realized that some Tab 400s come with an auto shut off when the lid closes, and some don't. Ours didn't, so I decided to add one. Below are pics of the part I used and the basic install. Note that the switch I bought could have been about 3/8" longer so I wouldn't have had to add the spacer to the lid with double-sided tape. Hope this helps others.

The part I got

Hole drilled as close to where the lid seals

Snipped the white wire, added the bolt to the bottom part and ran it thru the hole

connected the snipped white wire to the bottom and top of the switch and tightened

added a 3/8 inch piece of plastic wood so it would actually shut off when closed.
