Zamp to Jackery

The plan was to charge my Jackery 160 power station with my existing Zamp portable panel that I use for the trailer. I wanted this to work, seemed like a no-brainer, and from the description, just plug and play... I included an SAE to 8mm adapter between the panel and the Jackery.
Not so fast ke-mo sah-bee, there's just one problem- it doesn't work. All the connectors fit together but the Jackery will not allow the Zamp to deliver a charge. Could be due to the solar controller built into the Zamp, don't know. Any ideas out there?

There is an MPPT controller built into the Jackery. You can’t have two solar controllers.

Look on the back of the Zamp and using a small screwdriver, disconnect the wires….after you mark which side goes onto which terminal. Hint:  one side of the cable has plastic molded lines in it and the other side is smooth.
