In my third day of above 99F daytime 'camping' with night time lows 65+F.
At the Missoula MT KOA, electric/water no shade tree site.
Have deployed both ball cap visors and have a 40% garden/patio shade cover over the T@B.
[ past tests have shown shade cover reduces inside temperature 4-5F ]
5K BTU window air conditioner has been running 22 out of 24 hours per day.
Typically it drops cabin temperature18-20F lower than outside ambient which has been fine for me as bedtime cabin temperature gets to 68-70F.
Norcold 3-way has been harder to control then it normally is. Have seen temperatures between 28F and 51F.
While I do like and frequently use the propane fridge option there are times I dream of some 12VDC Danford compressor fridge manufacturer marketing one that is the same outside dimensions of Norcold, with front access door, for easy remodeling of my T@B.
As title says no surprises . . . . just one more real world data set.

I've had very good luck with the top canopy you see here. Keeps the cabin interior the same temperature as the outside in the shade. Allows the roof vent to be opened all the way when not using the A/C. Secured with four bungees purchased at Home Depot. There are several brands. Here's a link to one:

One concern with using the XL Visor over the A/C vent is trapped hot exhaust air mixing with fresh intake air. Perhaps putting the small visor on that side of the trailer would help.

Did get a couple eBike rides on the Milwaukee Railroad and Bitterroot bike paths just took it slow and kept outings shorter duration then originally planned for this trip.
Lots interesting looking spots in historic river district . . . something for a future visit when weather is sane; say mid spring or fall seasons.

As for visor placement. XL was placed on western sun side to help delay the late afternoon baking of the T@B side. Believe A/C is doing okay.
