Looking for locking idea for these custom boxes I order for my 2018 Tab 320

After I installed this, I learned that the propane tub needs to be unlocked because of fire regulations. But this would work on your two side tubs. Simple mailbox lock from Home Depot.
2016 Outback 320 with a 2010 Ford Expedition.

So it just screws in the lid? And the lock portion hooks under the lip of the box?

You need to drill a 3/4" diameter hole in the top using a step drill like this:
Make sure you get a lock with a longer shank. I believe they come in two standard sizes.
The tab at the end of the lock secures under the metal lip in the body of the tub:
The distance between the two yellow lines below is critical in getting the tab to go under the lip:

My boxes have no lip any idea ?

The easiest is to pop-rivet a metal "L" bracket to the front of the tub on the inside. The tab on the lock would then slide under the "L."
