Hello campers!
Anyone have a Tab camper Pahque clamshell Side tent. I recently ordered one and it’s short. There is a gap at back of trailer and could be a hole for insects. Any insights please ! 😀

We have the side tent for our CSS, too and the rear corner is wonky like you said.  PahaQue even remade the skirt for us.  Still not ideal, but we make it work.  If I had to guess, I think they make the floor too short which is fine for the S model as it  curves up in the back.

Sounds like the exact problem. If you have pictures I’d love to see. I’m working with tent company now. You would think they could get it right. It’s so close. But all it takes is that back opening and bugs are everywhere inside. Thanks for your feedback

Thanks yeah that’s short by a little. Please and thank you any with new skirt? Does it Velcro on?

do you put the floor right over your step? I do and actually tuck it and step right on it to get in. Did you order the floor for under. I did but didn’t use it yet.

Sorry, no photos with the new skirt.  It is identical to the original skirt, except longer.  The velcro sits lower on the skirt.  

We fold up the step and use a portable step.  Some owners cut a flap into the skirt to allow use of the step.  We use a piece of heavy plastic and a tarp under the floor.  I clear the area of sharp rocks, etc before deploying the tent and the floor remains in great shape.

Mine fits nice over the step. But I wonder if I use that extra and it maybe enough to help with the opening. And use a step like you do
