Removing front bezel on Jensen cube?

Hi all!
Does anyone know how to remove the front bezel on the Jensen cube?
I want to gain access to the power lead so i can switch it and its annoying display off at night.

Thank you!
Brent

Not sure which model you have, so here is a link to the Jensen installation manuals.  Hope this helps.

I don't know if the new models differ, but my entire unit could be removed from the cabinet after removing four screws on the face. A wiring harness in the back of the unit included the main power line.

The screws are likely under the bezel..here is what it looks like.

I would try a plastic putty knife to lightly pry the front bezel off. Expect to find Robertson or square drive screws under the bezel.

I intend to put an inline switch next to the Jenson as I don’t use it. Less phantom draws on the battery system and no light from the Jensen at night.

FYI you could dim the Jensen cube to zero then toggle the display on and off by tapping the power button. That's what we are doing until I get the time to install a power switch to kill the phantom draw off the batteries.

Success!..i was able to gently pry off the bezel quite easily and remove the 4 Robertson screws to take out the unit.
I will be putting a small toggle switch on the panel to the left of the radio with the toggle out of sight in the small cubby there...thanks for all the help everyone!

Yeah, that's way different from mine. Glad you got it figured out in either case!

    Hi,

Do you have a picture of the switch or brand/part number you used?  I also would like to have the light completely off at night.  Thank you

Yoshi_TAB, I used a toggle switch i had kicking around.
I drilled a hole the size of the switch shank and inserted it from behind with wires already attached. Because the switch shank was not long enough, i just epoxied it in, cut the red wire and crimped the switch wires to the two red wires...simple but effective!
    Here is the pics🙂
