Newbie to camping...

Hi, I'm strongly considering purchasing a T@B; however, I have never camped or used an RV. I'm thinking I would like to use it to go to the beach over long weekends or during my yearly trip back to my hometown a 20+ hour drive.

I would like to possibly rent or borrow one for two-three days to evaluate if this is really what I think it is. I'm having trouble finding a business that rents the T@B near me. Is there anyone within 200 miles of the Dallas-Fort Worth area who would be willing to let me rent/borrow their T@B for a few days or know a place where I can do this?

I can provide references and of course would pay the average rate for renting one. Thanks.

Rentals are hard to find, none of the dealers in my area rent but I know someone here on the forums did but can't remember where - hopefully someone in TX (Patti) will know the situation around Dallas.

Wondering if anyone knows of a place that rents the TABS, we really like them but want to rent one for a few nights so we can decide if it will really work for our small family and two daschunds.  Having a hard time finding any for rent online except for in California.  We are looking for one in GA, FL maybe AL, TN or SC to rent for about four nights.  Thanks!
