Jenson JTV19DC Volume Issues

The volume on my JTV19DC has some issues. I can manage to increase it through the JWM70A only momentarily before it drops down to zero. Also have problems with the menu selections on the TV: it runs through the menu options and won't let me select anything. I pulled the power plug on tv for a full day, replaced remote batteries, disconnected HDMI cable.
Is there a reset function on the TV?
Any ideas?
