May want to check air 8

Today i finished i stalling the remote thermostat. While I had the space open, I could feel air leaking out and thought I had a hole in vent tube. But it was actually leaking out of the top of the unit. The soft top material above the vents does not seal down well and is bowed a bit against what ever is below. Duct tape took care of it. In S. Texas heat every efficiency you can gain helps

The cool cat in the 400 is guilty of this as well. I had to reseal one of the corners of the plenum because it was leaking so much cool air into the space under the dinette seat that the outside wall of the trailer was cold adjacent to the seat. Essentially it was just cooling dead space under there.

    Thanks for sharing.
My Tab320- 2020- is doing just the same.  It’s nice to know I’m not the only one using tape to seal that side edge.

But a question…. My air8 is now making a clicking noise.  I only really notice it at night when I am close to the bed, but it’s definitely a click.  It doesn’t make the noise when the compressor kicks off, just while cooling.  I have my dealer ready to look at it, but it’s a two hour drive each way.  Any insight or thoughts are definitely appreciated.  I poked my head down there, but I can’t figure out where the clicking is coming from specifically.

I have no idea and I am not having that issue. Oddly though my unit just comes on my itself even with the heat on. I suspect some frequency is setting it on..
