Cool Cat fan cycles on and off with compressor still running

We have a 2021 TAB 400. The cool cat AC fan will cycle off for a second or two but the compressor keeps running. We have the front vents facing down to keep them from blowing up on the controller. Warranty is going to run out in Jannuary. So if I need to take it in to get it fixed I need to do this before then. Or is there an easy fix I can do?

    If you have the Coolcat fan setting on "Auto", you will experience the fan switching speeds which results in the cycling you're observing. This is normal for the Coolcat and there is at least one other post on this forum discussing the same operation.
    Set the fan to "Low" or "High" and you won't have the cycling, but the fan will run continuously even after the compressor is off.

    I think the fan runs continuously no matter what mode you’re in. If you set it to auto the fan will cycle between low and high depending on need. If you set it to either low or high, the fan will run at that speed all the time. I run mine at low because the high speed fan is too loud and low seems to get the job done. It would be nice if there were a setting such that the fan only ran when the compressor ran, like the auto setting on home air conditioners.

    The fan turns off when the air conditioner reaches the thermostat set point in the Auto mode...It does work exactly like a home AC system. At least mine does.

    Mine at home the fan cuts off when the compressor cuts off. TAB 400 the fan cycles on and foo and back on with the compressor still running,

    Mine is same as @ChrisFix - AC cycles fan speeds up and down while on Auto and shuts off when set temp is reached. The fan runs constantly on Low or High.

    Hmmm… I guess I didn’t let the system reach the set temp when I was testing the auto mode. Thanks for all the input - I’ll give it another go!
