Solved: Broken bracket on TAB400 front window extension arms

At 10 months post-purchase both of the brackets on the window-end of the front window extension arms broke, most likely due to heat during storage.  I first tried to 3D print new ones but it became apparent after only a short time that the extrusion plastic also was going to fail in the heat.

We found a simple fix for the broken brackets.  We purchased a piece of aluminum bar from the local hardware store, bent two pieces into a j-channel, and then used a cut-off nail as the pivot pin.  Works like a charm and unlikely to fail in the future.

Now that we know it works I'll likely remove them, prime and paint with a good quality black enamel paint before re-installing.

Dimensions that we used: 60mm / 15mm / 20 mm
