Recommendations for sites in the Scranton, PA area for second weekend of August

We're looking to kickoff our inaugural outing the second week of August, and road tripping up to Boston and back.  I'm looking to chunk it, so I want to spend the first night or two in the Scranton area.  Unfortunately Hickory Run SP won't work since the only openings they have are in the back 40 where there is no shower house or restroom.  Preferences are water/electrical hookups, sewer is optional (no shower/toilet in Uteki), and fairly close to at least toilet facilities.  Can anyone recommend anything?  Thanks.

I like to use Bloomsburg, not far from Scranton as a stop over on my to the Hudson Valley. To be honest, there are not a lot of places that are very close to the interstates in that area and a lot of the campgrounds don't get great reviews. You could try boondocking on one of the casino parking lots. I spent a night at J&D near Knobels once. It was OK, but way overpriced for my one night stay and the bathrooms were not close, so I used my T@b's facilities. The other things might be to see if you can stretch it a bit and stay at somewhere like Promised Land state park or another spot in the Poconos.

I will be honest, from east of Bloomsburg through Scranton, up past Fishkill, I don't get a real safe vibe. Getting off at a state park might be your best bet if you can make it work.
