Water flowing from the fresh water tank overflow when the water pump is turned on

Recently Dewinterized my 2021  T@B 320CSS.  Worked well.  Flushed all the lines using the city water setting on the Nautilus  2.5.  Then changed the Nautilus to fill fresh water tank.  Added 10 gallons, per the flow meter.   Flushed all the lines again using the water pump.   Drained all the water out and opened the Alde/Hot water bypass.  I did not sanitize yet.   2 days later I refill the freshwater tank using City Water, again 10 gal.  Nautilus is then set to DryCamp.   When the pump is turned on water is briskly flowing from the fresh water tank vent.   It was flowing under pressure.  At least 3 gallons/min.
Not sure what to do.  Any suggestions.
Thanks Edward.

Check the pump filter to make sure it is not obstructed with debris.  Is the pump delivering any water to the faucets?

Have one more look in the Alde compartment for the Famous Yellow Flapper Valve and make sure it is down.

  • Yes sounds like the yellow flapper is in the up position.

I checked the valve for the Alde.  It was in the up position.  Turned it to the down position.  Refilled the fresh water tank, and turned on the water pump.  No more water coming out of the fresh tank overflow.  What a rookie mistake.  I plan to clean the filter as well.  Thanks so much for all your advice.  Edward

So, the water wasn’t coming from the fresh tank vent…it was exiting through the Safety/drain valve?

That's what it sounds like to me Sharon.  EdwardandMay make sure you locate the actual fresh water overfill drain so you know where it is as opposed to the Alde drain.  On the 400 it is tucked up near the wheel and tough to see unless you know where to look.  I assume it is in a similar position on the 320.

Slightly off topic... where is the fresh water tank vent (2022 320S)?  In other words, where will I see the water coming out when the fresh water tank is full?
    Thanks!

Fresh water overflow pipe is on the passenger side, rear.

This will help.  This is the 2022 CSS.  Fresh tank overflow is #3

#1 - Black corrugated 2 inch drain is for the AC condensation.  #2 - Alde Drain from the yellow Safety/Pressure valve under the driver side bench.  #3 - Fresh tank overflow.  #4 - Alde condensation and bleed drain (follow the hoses from the Alde - 2 should exit through the floor and drain at this point.)

This post was very helpful. I connected to city water, likely the pressure was too high. Resulted in the overflow pouring out water and no pressure in the sinks. The yellow flapper value was put into the up position; I guess by excessive pressure. I bought a 40-50 lb water pressure valve to connect to my city water hose.

by putting the flap in the down position (forward) the and turning back on the water with the pressure proection the sinks work again.

    thanks for sharing.
