Hello from Euless, Texas I've been reading the forums for months. Now that delivery is so close I thought I'd jump in and say Hi! Thank-you to everyone for providing such a wealth of information.
purchased through Holiday World RV in Mesquite. Black on silver with the front window. TV is a 2012 Touareg V6 (gas). I installed the brake controller Friday. :-p
It's a Progressive EMSLCHW30 It is designed to be installed in any orientation, so you don't have to do a lot of re-wiring. Just cut the wire where you want it, turn it so the input is on the correct side, then install the display in whatever orientation you want. The display will read right-side up.
I got mine in Mesquite too. I'm in Euless, but keep the T@rdis in Keller. For the surge protector, I just took the advice of other T@b owners from this forum. I haven't had any electrical issues, so I guess it's working. Sort of like elephant repellent. I met up with a couple of Houston area owners at Inks Lake last month. I may head out to Fort Griffin later this month.

See "First Trip in the S Maxx" in the general section. This is my last post in Introductions.
As usual, she nailed it.
Why the Surge Protector? Is that why I keep blowing the30 amp fuse on the battery? How did you know to do this? Thnks!

Have fun, Propus! You will continue to tweak your T@B and love it more. I'm done with Year Two and feel so much more confident now. Happy Trails.
