A place not to camp with your T@B

I will start by stating that campground owners and staff are wonderful, gracious and friendly. The fellow campers are very nice. You are just a couple steps from the water. After all that what could be wrong?
Play the T@B version of find Waldo with the following pic

The place is geared for huge motor homes and travel trailers. They are sacked up like cord wood. Most folks using this marina RV park do so with their ocean going fishing boats in slips in the harbor.
It was Porto Bodega Marina RV Park. One again the folks could not have been nicer, we enjoyed them all.

Reminds me of the Louisville KOA.

I've seen plenty of those types of campgrounds but have never experienced one - always just pass them by.

I would imagine that is when the tent becomes super useful - may hear everyone but at least you can't see as much....

Ouch. The density would not be as hard if there was at least a bit green space (shrubs / trees) between camp sites. Silver lining is that folks were nice...2014 T@B S-Maxx with 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport Turbo, Atlanta, GA.

I have used these types of places when I needed a place to sleep and needed shore power for a/c.

It is almost impossible to find a place with hook ups on our coast during the summer and we wanted to try the T@B with full hookups so we knew what we were getting into. It was a very successful experiment.

Check out Chanslor Guest Ranch and stables (just up the road from Porto Bodega Marina and RV Park.) Not sure of the price differential between them, but as I recall, Chanslor has hookups and is on the bluffs overlooking the ocean and much less crowded.

Thanks, we saw it, just a brief peak, from Hwy 1. I doubt we will be back, we really like, as most do here, more remote sites.mash2 said:Check out Chanslor Guest Ranch and stables (just up the road from Porto Bodega Marina and RV Park.)
