Roof vent

Hey guy, has anyone changed the stock roof vent fan? And will the roof support me on it to change the fan and also install internet antenna?

No, the roof will not support your weight without denting. Yes, the vent can be changed. One former owner detailed the job on Facebook a while back and was able to do almost all the work from inside. Others have done it by leaning over from one side or the other while keeping their weight on a ladder.

I chose the easy route and handed the job off to my dealer.

@Dollarshort what @VictoriaP said X2. The roof will not support your weight without causing damage! There are ways around installation yourself, and I agree that the very easiest way is to have your dealer do it!

What worked for me to get on the roof is a 2-3" foam pad under a sheet of plywood.  I used this to kneel on the roof to install and seal a new fan and left no dents.
