Air8 Air Duct Distribution

While reading the Air8 Installation and Instruction Manual I noticed they recommend you connect the longest cold air duct (max. 27 feet) to the central (center) cold air outlet, since it has the highest air capacity (page 5). Out of curiosity I checked ours. Our installation has the shortest air duct ~3ft connected to the central cold air outlet. Am I going to change it, probably, it will be my first project pre-winterizing. 

I searched the forum to see if this had been addressed, if it had I missed it-  sorry for the repeat.

my system also had some air leaks around the outlet and the exterior cover. duct tape  made a big difference
