We use 5 lb propane tanks. Use them for the 2 burner camp stove, the Blackstone griddle and the propane campfire. They fit perfectly inside a 2 gal bucket. Have to replace the wire handle with a rope or cord handle. Easy to transport and more stable. Did use 1/2 milk crates but have to put something in between to keep them from banging around - don't need to with 2 gal bucket. Plus these don't take up as much room.
