Do I need this awkward bike rack?

We just purchased a 2005 T@B 320 (!) and it comes with this extremely high bike rack. We are walkers, not cyclists...and don't really need this rack. Also, it is so high, neither of us would be able to place a bike up there anyhow. In addition, having the rack above the battery/tank, makes the battery/tank inaccessible. Is the bike rack something we should keep for resale when we eventually sell the trailer or is this design something that nobody uses and we should just scrap it and save the storage space for something more useful?

Personally, I'd remove it and sell it. These racks are usually universal and mount to most trailer tongues. They are somewhat of an oddball item so it wouldn't do anything for resale value.

Is it an Arvika brand bike rack?  If so, they are pretty popular with people who don’t trust their bikes to racks like Jack-It.  So you shouldn’t have a problem selling it.

I am in Ontario, Canada. I put it up for sale and have had dozens of replies. Hopefully, it is sold tonight to the first person coming to see it. We really don't have room to store it and I'd rather see someone actually utilizing it.
