Counting down the days to our first trip, and knowing we're going to need to pre-cool the fridge (Norcold 3-way,) trying to decide how soon before the trip to get the camper in our drive and plugged in to start cooling.
At home, we'll be on normal house current (15A / 120V) and at the campsite we'll be on a 30A hookup, so other than the drive (~4hrs) we'll be on AC the whole time. Right now, if we bring it home when planned and get it hooked up, it'll have about 24hrs plugged in before we leave. We might help it along, too, by tossing in some various size jugs of ice we've used to keep our home freezer full.
So, any recommendations? Best case, we could probably get a 36hr pre-cool in by bringing it home earlier.
