Needed to counter sink the mounting screws to allow easier install of the awning cord. Narrow slot so a regular counter sink bit wouldn't fit. Took a regular 1/4 inch bit and ground down the tip to match the pitch of the screw heads. About 45 minutes to complete.
Nice job tinknocker. I have thought of doing the same. I have an awning that uses barrel nuts in the keder rail and I had to grind each one of the nuts so that would slide past the protruding screws. If the screws had been counter sunk it would have saved me the job.

I've found that a lot of the screws on my 2018 tab have backed out over time and one of my camp chores is to go around tightening up things. Know it's not practical but wish Nucamp would use lock tight on their screws.
I've found screw tightening to be at least a bi-annual event on my maintenance list. Be careful to not over tighten the shorter ones in places like the Keder rails, the short screws don't have much surface to bite into the support material.
