2. Kitchen Sink: We ordered 2 of this and this one fit the best. Only slight trimming was needed to put the new deep sink in place. Faucet is great too and this one pulls down with hot being 'down handle' which saves on hot water. The faucet weight doesn't get caught on anything since no water filter. We prefer to bring water in containers from Wolverine Tuff bottles since they are made in NC!! The following faucet and sink are on Amazon.
ORLANDO 16''x16'' Dual-Mount 304 Stainless Steel Single Bowl Bar Sink 18 Gauge
Cut this large round charcuterie board shown below to fit sink. Stays in for travel and easily fits above microwave when sink is in use.
3. Bath Sink: The stick on tile is from Lowes. This modification also involved birch from Lowes - a bit pricey. We used quarter inch for the front removable panel and 3/8 inch for the remainder including the base and curved counter (free hand drawn - took a while!). We used the panel in the T@b to mount the sink and then used 1/4 inch for tile backing. The left hand option works well for us with the faucet having a wonderful 360 swivel! We did buy a drain from Lowes as the drain that came with the faucet was too small. NOTE - Got a small rubber plug for the overflow chrome opening since we found the overflow drain to simply not fit well with plumbing. This mod took us a while but we had a bunch of no camping rain days. Must say we do not miss the pull down! We returned 5 (yep 5!) sinks to Amazon before deciding to go with the one given below. We use a 'ton' of packing tape!
4. Utensil Drawer: Husband made the insert for this before I found one online cheaper than what he made! His is, of course, much more special. Both of us like this so much and highly recommend this kinda easy mod. Our metal drawer slides are found at Lowes. We did cut the back of the original drawer so the top drawer can slide back when the drawer is open. After finally figuring out out to remove the drawer (the simple stuff gets us!), we realized a panel near the back wall would be a great addition to funnel heat through the vents. Using 1/4 inch piece of birch plywood enabled this to be done and the drawer to still work. Do not have a link for the drawer slides but any big box hardware stores will have these. Unfortunately, we lost the photos of installation.
5. Extra stuff:
A. A 'pops open trash can' on Amazon and fits perfectly over cabinet drawer. (not sure if linked)
B. Vents: This one is very easy to do and so needed - especially by the bed. Our dog appreciates the AC air vent by the door turned her way when it is hot. Found on Amazon.
RV Camper Thermovent 4 inch Ducted Heat Vent with Damper Black PN 94268
C. Easy shelf in the shoe cubby.
D. Making the bed is a pain and still a pain, but putting these on the moving Froli system helped when tucking sheets. (Amazon)
E. When putting in the 'slinky stinky' storage (usually use a short one) we had to cut the metal of the storage box. Found some rubber edge covering on Amazon for the raw aluminum edge.
Edge Trim Black Small, 1/8" Fits Edge (3 Feet)
Valterra A04-5094BK RV Adjustable EZ Hose Carrier with Lockable Door Cap, Black
F. Used these to prop up the storage under the bed. They are so strong, we had to latch the top to keep it down without the mattress topper! (Amazon)
G. The are wonderful tent poles. Found a way to use both on the ball cap which keeps that stable. Also fixed all screws in the keder rail by drilling only a little and putting back screws. Cap now slides in very easily! (Amazon)
H. And lastly a place for the hiking sticks. Used these broom holders (Amazon) and, of course, a nice piece of walnut.
