Under the sink faucet leak

During our latest outing, my wife noticed some water under the kitchen sink. We removed all the items in the cabinet and we had a good amount of water residing on the cabinet shelf. There was a very tiny drip coming out over the cold water Pex clamp where the PVC Flexible riser attaches to the faucet. I say tiny drip, because it had been dripping for 6 days when she noticed the water and it was confined to the shelf. Luckily we only have our circulation pump on when using water and turn it off when not in use. The drip seemed to only appear when the water pump was on and the system under pressure. 

The fix was fairly easy, disconnect sink from drain pipes, remove 4 retaining screws holding the sink, break seal around sink, lift sink out. The sink had to be removed to get access to the PEX clamps. Loosen retaining nut on faucet to get better access to the PEX clamps. Next cut off old PEX clamps and remove PVC Flexible riser. Purchase new PVC Flexible riser and PEX clamping tool and reverse order to reattach. 

When nuCamp attached the 1/2” FIP PVC Flexible riser to the faucet connections it appears they had to heat the PVC Flexible riser to allow it to fit over the faucet connections. In the process, it appears they were over zealous in heating the PVC Flexible riser and burned/melted the ends, (attached picture). The burned/melted ends along with the PVC Flexible riser only minimal slipped onto the faucet connections and a PEX clamp location in question, all resulted in our tiny drip, drip, drip.

had same issue (2019 320 boondock).  Dremeled off the PEX clamps, recut the PVC tubing, and installed hose clamps.  except- while the first one worked, the 2nd one didn't.  still have the leak. Partially, methinks, because the hose clamp is a bit wider than the PEX clamps and doesn't fit within the rings on the plastic fittings on the faucet hose attachments.  

Any advice on how to just make this all tight and leakproof?  maybe a new faucet?  The one good thing about the stock faucet is that it uses a minimal amount of water- and since we pretty much only boondock, that's useful.
