New Inside Table for Lagun Mount

Mad a new indoor table for T@B. Just birch plywood with 3/4 aluminum banding. Matches the wine rack and cup holders I'd already done. May put tempered glass on top of it. 22L x 14w x 3/4h. Cut down Laguna vertical mount a bit so it would lay flatter between then beds.

That came out nice!  Try using a bar-top finish instead of glass, it gives a similar effect, hard glossy finish without the weight of glass.

Nice job with the aluminum banding!  That takes a great amount of skill to pull-off so beautifully.

Here's another take on a new table.  It's made from western red cedar with a black walnut accent.  I thought the stock table was a bit too heavy.  The stock table top comes in at 7.7 lbs (no hardware) and this new one weighs 4.5 lbs, so there's less stress on the pivot arm and bushings.  While traveling, I place a pillow on the cushions and lower the table onto it so it's supported, but this lighter table will be even better.  I also made some sliding rails for the underside so the table can slide forwards and backwards.

I used a tool bench top from Home Depot.  $36.  Not as nice as those above though.
