When Is An Alde Convector Hose Too Far Gone?

I’ve searched the forum comprehensively and not found criteria for replacement of an Alde convector hose. How does one know when the hose(s) are too far gone and must be replaced? I’m preparing to do a full inspection of my Alde system and address any corrosion and bulging hoses at the connections. I know by touch that my hoses are bulging at least some at the convector in the passenger wheel well area, but have not yet exposed them.

If this has been discussed, please point me to that discussion. Otherwise, what are your thoughts? Can I reuse a bulging hose? I really appreciate the expertise of the members of this forum!!

The places to look would be "corrosion of the Alde convectors" threads.  Some of them do have pictures of what seems to be pretty "obvious" swelling.  I have the same issues when I look at my hose connections.  They seem "normal".  This is a search for "corrosion", sorted for just "images".  You can see some of the photos are obviously "bulging". Click the photo, and then the link, and it should take you to the page where the photo is.

(You may have already seen these, of course.)  In some cases, it seems owners simply opened up the hoses and convectors for an inspection.
