Which adapters are needed?

Trying to get a handle on our T@B shopping list. I've been advised that 50A/30A and 30A/15A adapters are good things to have.

Would someone post a link to exactly which adapters we need? (Amazon is fine.) There seem to be different types.

Rarely would you need a 50 to 30 amp adaptor, unless you plan to stay at parks that cater to 40 ft. busses and 5th wheelers. The 30 to 15 not so much either because you have a 30 amp plug on your power cord. I would recommend getting a 15 to 30 amp adaptor for those parks that only have 20 amps at the pedestal.

The 15 to 30 amp adapter is also good when you want to plug in at home easily, to charge the battery or get the fridge cooled down, or just have coffee B-).

Ours came with a 30 amp cord, 25ft I think. It also came with the above-mentioned adapter.

Okay, I assume the 15 to 30 has a male 15A plug on one end to plug into a 110 outlet in our house, and a 30A (female?) receptacle on the other end that I would plug the trailer power cord into? Mine looks like this (direct plug in with tighter with 1875 Watt limit).  It's very short and i just use an extension cord with it.

I recommended the 30 - 15. Sorry, I had it backwards. It is a 15-30, I was talking about. However, I do use a 30-15. One I plug in one of those testers into the 15 amp side, and then plug the 30 into the campground plug. That way I can at least tell if the post is wired correctly by the lights.

As far as the 50-30, think about it, the 30 Amp plug is the most commonly used, so therefore the most potential for issues. I've been at 3 campsites where the 30 amp plug was bad, or was so worn and loose, my plug wouldn't stay in, but the 50 Amp was just fine, so I used the 50-30 converter to give me power.

Carol - Thanks for your advice.  I just bought one from Amazon for $19.
