shower pan removeal

I have a '21 320 CSS with a water leak under the shower. I'm pretty sure it's a water supply line. I need to remove the shower pan. All the screws have been 
removed but I dont know how to remove the bottom door seal strip. Creed says its glued in place and then screwed in. Has anyone any experience with this?

Look over the thread below, and check the two links in the thread that go to other shower pan leak discussions.  In Verna's thread (where you can also examine her fine woodworking!) her solution was simple debris stuck just under the area where he shower drain meets the p-trap underneath.

Thanks pthomas745 for sending the thread. I removed the shower pan and discovered a Crack in the opening of the pan where the drain goes. The drain is cracked too. A new drain is being sent to me . I read but can't find the tthehread where someone was going to build up the area around the drain to eliminate the flex. I have epoxied the Crack in the pan but would like to get rid the flex.
