First off we really do like the small dome fan, understandably there is some noise when a small fan running at those speeds needs to move air. However, after de-winterizing if turned it on and it is now pretty loud. Last year I had the issue where the impeller came off, I epoxied it on the shaft and has been good. I went to the roof and removed the cover, the impeller is still good. Running the fan without the cover and it is still loud. I then rotated it manually and as it goes around it sounds like a bad bearing is creating the noise. Also, when I took off the cover the wire that is soldered to the rear of the fuse holder is frayed, looks like it was bent/stressed too much during assembly.
So who do I approach to (hopefully) get a replacement fan? Maxxfan has a 2 year warranty but do I approach nuCamp for the claim, a dealer or try MaxxFan? We've only had the 400 for a little over a year.

@manyman297 Called the Aircel # for warranty submittal, left a message with some details (they were on lunch). Received a call back, gave him verbal model #, SN and date of purchase for my tab (just over a year) and a new fan is being sent out. Easy peasy.
@DM159 I thought of that as well, but then I am bandaiding the problem since it is still under warranty (2 years from MaxxAir). Plus the frayed wire will give out when I need the fan most....
@Slackers Thx, I do think it is a bearing, there is a noticeable tick at a point in the revolution when I turn it by hand. When it spins at x thousands of RPM that tick is the load noise.
Thanks to all.
