Noisy AIMS inverter fan

The fan on my inverter (2020 400 Boondock with AIMS 1200 inverter) has become very loud recently. It also seems to run more often than it used to, if not all the time. Has anyone had this issue and sourced replacement fans? Or will I most likely have to replace the whole unit?

If I'm forced to replace the inverter are there any suggestions of an upgrade or is the AIMS the best option we have?

Our AIMS 1200 inverter only gets noisy when asked to deliver a high output.  Under little, or no, load it is almost silent.  I would guess that the unit contains a temperature sensor that increases the fan speed as the unit gets hotter, so it might be you have a bad temperature sensor if the fan is running fast under low load.  That or you live somewhere very hot.
