Effect of Inactivity on T@B tires

Hi, all:  I have a 320 S, boondock edition.  It's been sitting in my garage for about a year since my last camping trip.  I want to take it out again next month, but am wondering about the effect of a year of inactivity on the tires.  The T@B is not jacked up, so its weight has been on the tires for a year.  The tires are about two years old.  Are there any precautions that I should take to make sure the tires are OK, other than checking their pressure?  Thanks.

The tires on our 2021 400 already began cracking after two years. At first I thought it may have been UV exposure but the cracking was happening on the inside sidewalls as well. My best guess is that even having it stationery over the winter is bad for the tires. I plan on jacking the trailer up on stands this winter to take the weight off the tires.

One thing in your favor is that the trailer has been garaged rather than exposed to the elements. Inspect the sidewalls for cracks and general appearance. Our 2021 400 trailer is stored in a roofed trailer yard and the tires are holding up fine. I don’t jack the trailer up. I keep the tires at 45-50 psi. We do 3-4 trips per year and the trailer sits for several months at a time.

IMHO there is limited risk.  Do a good visual inspection, set the tire pressure to the 46-50# range.

My original tires have 36+K miles and appear fine except for thread wear . . . they are MileStar which is a higher quality Asian import brand rated at 40K miles of SUV/Truck usage.

    I'm budgeting for a spring-24 new set =)
