Has
anyone ever experienced chipping and cracking of the camper skin? I
found a chip at the door frame as I was waxing my 2023 Tab 400, took a
pic and enlarged it to see all sorts of hairline fractures radiating out
from the door frame. This pic shows only about one quarter of the
fractures some of which are lifting up, I would assume from water. The
camper is still under warranty but I would like advice on the proper
way to repair this. NuCamp says go to a body shop.
I personally want the entire side replaced as I'm positive there is
more damage under the trim piece and I don't want laminate lifting down
the road. Advice please. Thank you.
This issue has not occurred with my 2018 400. Like you, I would be concerned about hidden damage. Full trim removal seems necessary. I would call service at the nearest dealer to bring it in for inspection and discuss options.
